The 15th Headies’ Next Rated winner, Buju BNXN, gave a humorous acceptance speech at the ceremony, which took place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
To win the prized category and a brand-new vehicle, BNXN defeated his rivals.
The prize this year is more than in previous years since the winner receives a Bentley.
The musician urged the politician to help him transport the car to Nigeria when he collected his plaque in front of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos state.
As he made his appeal to the Governor, the musician mentioned that it would cost a lot of money to ship a car to Lagos and that he could not afford it.
He said “My Governor please o, they gave me car abeg the money is plenty I can’t bring it to Lagos help me bring my car to Lagos.”It was a funny acceptance speech for the 15th Headies’ Next Rated winner, Buju BNXN, at the award show that was held in Atlanta, USA.
