A Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Kwara State, Honourable Marooph Bukoye Bintinlaye has commiserated with Dr. Musa Idowu Audu, Koro Community of Ekiti local government and the Audu family over the death of Associate Professor Taiwo Audu.
In a statement signed by his Media Aide on Friday, Bintinlaye described the death of the astute academician as a sad development at the dire time the country needs him.
“At this dire time, it is saddening to witness the death of another pillar of the society. Professor Taiwo Audu was such an experienced and learned academic, a skilled administrator, a diplomatic bridge builder, peacemaker, charming socialite, the model of humility, and a quintessential gentleman.
“Though we take solace in the fact that he lived a life of significant devotion to God and humanity comforts us.
“I ask God to comfort his soul and give his family the strength to deal with the loss,” Bintinlaye said.
Bintinlaye afterwards prayed that God will give the state, his community and the family the fortitude to bear the lose.
