The Polytechnic Ojoku has conveyed their condolence to the Federal Polytechnic, Offa over the demise of latter’s Registrar, Adetunji Oni.
This was contained in a statement signed by the head of the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Unit, Hammed J. Sulaiman on Monday.
It reads, “The Rector, Salaudeen Oyewale, has, on behalf of the Management, Staff and Students of The Polytechnic Ojoku, expressed condolences as Federal Polytechnic Offa loses Registrar, Late (Mr) Adetunji Oni.
“Late (Mr) Adetunji Oni, before his appointment as substantive Registrar, was the Deputy Registrar in charge of Council Affairs of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, and as highly knowledgeable as he was, he worked in virtually every unit and department of the Polytechnic. Before his demise, Late (Mr) Adetunji was a member of many professional bodies within and outside the country.
“In a letter sent to the Federal Polytechnic Offa, the Management of The Polytechnic Ojoku described the deceased as an excellent administrator, a technocrat, and a seasoned public relations expert. Late (Mr) Adetunji Oni was indeed a source of motivation and a spring of hope for education.
“The Management of The Polytechnic Ojoku prays for God’s mercy upon his soul, family, and property left. The Management also prays may his kith and kin gas the fortitude to bear the loss.”
