From the beginning of this 2023 presidency race, its been obvious that Buhari will not pick Osinbajo as the consensus candidate but instead of our dear BATists to focus on Buhari and Adamu, they were busy with Osinbajo is a betrayal movement.
Fayemi and Amosun are in the race, they are Yorubas, they all signed to consensus, BATists still believe Osinbajo was not supposed to sign since he is a professor.
If Yorubaland will come together and produce a single candidate, I believe it should be by vote, I see no reason all the Yoruba aspirants in the race should step down for Asiwaju, and I also don’t see any reason Asiwaju should not be ready to support any other Yoruba aspirant chosen if it comes to North vs South.
Our dear Uncle Omisore is the Secretary of the party right, how come his Boss, the National Chairman of the party had his way through picking a northener as the consensus candidate, or he wasn’t aware when the decision was made. He is also Yoruba now.
Its all complicated, but in all of it blame game right now is wrong.
Bottom line is BAT has been said to be a tactical politician, so I expect him to win the primary against the consensus candidate without issues.
Osinbajo is not the problem, BATists need to change focus.
