(Dr.) Kolawole Gbolashere Balogun, a distinguished son of Offa, an industrial pathfinder, and the visionary founder and CEO of Momas Electric Company—Nigeria’s foremost indigenous manufacturer of smart and prepaid electricity meters. Dr. Balogun’s life is a compelling story of ingenuity, perseverance, and patriotic service. Over the years, he has risen as a towering figure in Nigeria’s energy sector, pioneering local solutions to power distribution challenges and breaking barriers in a space long dominated by foreign players. Through Momas, he has championed innovation, job creation, and technology transfer, paving the way for Nigeria’s energy independence.
