A 28-year-old Nigerian man named Nicolas Aina has been detained by the police in east London, United Kingdom, on suspicion of fatally stabbing his mother Caroline Adeyelu, 64, on Sunday evening, October 30.
According to DailyMail, the 28-year-old was charged with the attempted murder of a second woman in her 30s in addition to the murder of his mother, who was killed on November 1st.
According to the report, the other woman was stabbed and sent to the hospital for treatment while Adeleyu was confirmed dead at the site. Her health is not in danger of dying.
Aina appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was ordered to remain in custody until her November 3 appearance at the Old Bailey, according to the police.
