The Executive Director of Administration and Human Resources at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, PS (Rtd) has congratulated Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Senator Lola Ashiru on their recent appointments to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Central Coordination Committee for the 2026 National Convention.
The appointments, announced on February 2, 2026, by APC National Secretary Ajibola Basiru, designate Governor AbdulRazaq as Vice Chairman of the 73-member Central Coordination Committee, while Senator Ashiru has been named as a member of the committee.
The Central Coordination Committee is tasked with overseeing preparations for the APC National Convention scheduled to hold between March 25 and March 28, 2026.
Governor AbdulRazaq’s appointment is particularly significant given his current position as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
Hajia Sanni commended both leaders for their dedication to democratic governance and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute positively to the success of the upcoming convention.
Hajia Sanni described as well-deserved, considering their leadership credentials and their current positions as Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) and Deputy Senate Leader, respectively.
She added that their inclusions reflect their experiences, loyalty, and strategic importance within the APC.
Hajia Sanni expressed confidence that both leaders would bring their wealth of experience, discipline, and commitment to bear in ensuring a successful and well-coordinated APC National Convention, while further strengthening the party’s internal democracy and national outlook.
She wished them success in their new assignments and prayed for wisdom and strength as they continue to serve the party and the nation.
