APC Support Group Appoints Alh Hakeem Yusuf Owolabi (Oko Eleha) Coordinator

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has intensified its nationwide grassroots mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 general election with the appointment of Alhaji Hakeem Yusuf Owolabi as Offa Local Government Area Coordinator of the Grassroots Mobilisation for APC PBAT Nationwide.

Owolabi, a prominent APC chieftain in Kwara State, is also the Offa Local Government Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Grassroots Movement (RHGM) and Chairman of the party in Ojomu Central ‘B’ Ward, Offa Local Government Area.

His appointment, dated January 22, 2026, was conveyed in a letter issued by the National Executive Committee of the grassroots mobilisation group and signed by its National Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Lawal Rabana.

According to the letter, Owolabi is expected to steer sensitisation and mobilisation activities at the local government level in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid in 2027.

The national body said his selection was based on his consistent contributions to the growth, success and development of the APC in Offa Local Government Area and beyond, expressing confidence that his leadership would further strengthen the party’s outreach at the grassroots.

“Your contribution would significantly impact our ability to strategise effectively and sensitise across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,” the letter stated.

The appointment comes as APC-backed support groups ramp up community-based campaigns nationwide to consolidate support for President Tinubu’s re-election under the Renewed Hope agenda.
