Alhaji Hakeem Yusuf Owolabi, popularly known as Oko Eleha, has congratulated Hon. Oladipo Sharafadeen Babatunde, fondly called Laka, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a committed leader and dependable party man.
Owolabi, who is the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ojomu Central ‘B’ Ward in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State, and the Offa Local Government Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Grassroots Movement (RHGM), praised Hon. Laka’s contributions to political development and grassroots mobilisation within the party.
Hon. Babatunde, widely known as Laka Omo Alubarika, is the Executive Director (Projects) at Misterich Limited, Abuja. He also chairs Tupecs International Limited, Tunde Danngote Autos Ltd, Fatima Abike and Sons Nigeria Limited, and serves as an Executive Director at Al Ahad Group/Ahad International FZC Ltd.
A prominent APC stakeholder, Laka was among the leading chairmanship aspirants in Offa Local Government during the 2024 local government political season. He is currently seeking the APC ticket to represent the Essa/Shawo/Igbodun Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a congratulatory message, Oko Eleha, who is regarded as a close ally and member of Hon. Laka’s political inner circle, described him as a visionary leader with a strong passion for public service and community development.
He prayed for good health, wisdom and divine favour for the celebrant, expressing optimism that Hon. Laka’s aspiration to represent the people of Essa/Shawo/Igbodun Constituency in the Kwara State House of Assembly would be fulfilled.
According to him, Hon. Laka’s leadership qualities, experience in both the private and political sectors, and commitment to the ideals of the APC position him well to make meaningful contributions to governance and legislative service in Kwara State.
