Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has produced another outstanding graduate as Ms. Bello Arafat Abidemi emerged with a Second Class Upper Division in Mass Communication.

Ms. Abidemi was among the graduands at the university’s 13th Convocation Ceremony, which held from December 9 to 13, 2025, for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The week-long convocation featured several activities, including a press briefing, novelty football match, convocation lecture, cultural play and the main award ceremony, which took place on December 13, where degrees and prizes were formally conferred on graduating students.

The new graduate is the daughter of Chief Tajudeen Kolawole Bello (Alesh), the Okanlomo of Obbo-Ile, Kwara State, who hails from Idi Orombo in Ile Lalemi Compound, and his wife, Alhaja Basirat of Ile Awudere, both of Offa, Kwara State.

Ms. Abidemi began her academic journey at Torchvill Nursery and Primary School, Surulere, Lagos, and later attended Jubril Martins Memorial Secondary School, also in Surulere, both in Lagos State where she laid a strong foundation for her academic excellence.

Her graduation with a Second Class Upper Division reflects her dedication, discipline and commitment to excellence, earning her admiration from family members, friends and well-wishers.
