Adeola Schools, a group of distinct Nigerian educational institutions in Offa, Kwara State is continuing its long-standing tradition of academic excellence, a culture that has endured for more than six decades.
The disclosure was made by the Principal of Adeola College, Mr. Olawale Adewumi Paul in a recent interview.
Citing the example of the school’s impressive performance in the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO) examinations, Mr. Olawale described the results as part of an ongoing legacy rather than a one-off achievement.
According to him, Adeola College Offa has consistently been building, strengthening, and sustaining high academic standards since its establishment, with the 2025 results representing yet another milestone in that journey.
“In Adeola College Offa, we are not just celebrating results; we are sustaining excellence. For over sixty years, the school has been nurturing disciplined minds, raising responsible leaders, and producing students who can compete favourably anywhere,” the principal stated.
He disclosed that the 2025 WAEC results showed 100 per cent credit and pass rates in subjects such as Mathematics, Civic Education, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accounting, Commerce, and several technical and vocational courses.
He said these result reflect the school’s continuous investment in effective teaching and structured learning.
Mr. Olawale added that Economics recorded 88.9 per cent credit and 98.4 per cent pass rates, while English Language posted a strong 85.1 per cent credit rate, demonstrating the school’s balanced strength across sciences, arts, and commercial disciplines.
On the NECO performance, the principal said the school is equally maintaining its dominance, as English Language returned 96 per cent credit and 100 per cent pass rates, while Mathematics achieved 72 per cent credit and 98 per cent pass among 50 candidates.
He noted that Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are consistently delivering near-perfect outcomes, with each subject recording 97.5 per cent credit and 100 per cent pass rates, a feat he attributed to sustained laboratory upgrades, practical-based instruction, and continuous teacher development.
The principal further explained that the school is constantly reviewing its academic strategies, strengthening student support systems, and deploying targeted interventions where necessary, including in Further Mathematics, to ensure that no learner is left behind.
“Adeola College Offa is continuously evolving, continuously improving, and continuously setting the pace. Our focus remains on sustaining excellence, not just achieving it once,” he said.
