A new twist has emerged in the unfolding drama surrounding Nollywood actress, Regina Daniels, as her mother, Rita Daniels, has accused her son-in-law, Senator Ned Nwoko, of ordering her arrest.
Rita made the revelation in a message shared by Regina on her Instagram Story, where she claimed the Delta-born lawmaker directed security operatives to have her arrested on or before Monday.
Although Rita did not reveal the reason behind the alleged arrest order, her outburst has intensified public attention on what appears to be a deepening rift within the Daniels-Nwoko family.
The revelation follows an emotional post by Regina Daniels, who earlier expressed distress over her mental and emotional state, suggesting she was struggling to hold herself together.
“I tried. I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m losing my mind, and it’s not making any sense. I’m really crying in front of everybody,” the actress lamented in a video that has since gone viral.
The young mother of two added, in what many interpreted as a message of resignation, “I will go back,” hinting at a possible retreat from her marital home.
