One Million Bibles To Be Shared Nationwide In Honour Of Seyi Tinubu

In a remarkable show of faith and civic spirit, no fewer than one million copies of the Holy Bible are to be distributed nationwide in honour of Barrister Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The initiative, unveiled on Sunday at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, was organised by friends of the President’s son and coordinated by the National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere.

According to the organisers, the project aims to promote moral rebirth, ethical leadership, and civic responsibility among Nigeria’s youth — values they believe are fast eroding in the face of social and political turbulence.

Hon. Enwere, while addressing the congregation during a thanksgiving service, explained that the distribution of the Bibles was not meant to celebrate an individual but to inspire a new moral consciousness across the country.

“The one million Bible project is a seed of moral transformation — a gift to the body of Christ. Through this effort, we hope to rekindle integrity, compassion, and genuine love for humanity among young Nigerians,” Enwere said.

The thanksgiving service, which simultaneously held in about 40 churches across Nigeria, featured solemn prayers and messages centred on national renewal, unity, and the revival of moral values.

Rev. Ini Ukpuho, Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, officiated the service and led special prayers for the Tinubu family and the nation. Clergymen from different denominations described the move as timely and spiritually significant, especially at a time when moral decadence appears to be deepening in society.

In a goodwill message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed gratitude to the organisers, noting that faith and moral education remain indispensable to national growth and responsible citizenship.

“Nigeria’s future depends on how well we build a generation that honours God, upholds truth, and values human dignity,” he was quoted as saying.

The first batch of the Bibles — earmarked for distribution to churches, schools, and youth ministries across the country — was symbolically presented during the service. Organisers say the exercise will begin in the coming weeks.
