The Kazeem Bukoye Foundation (KBF) has passed a resounding vote of confidence on the Honourable Councillors of Offa Local Government Area, led by Speaker of the Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Mustapha Olawale Sharafa.

He appreciated the lawmakers in recognition of their outstanding performance, dedication, and service within their first year in office.

In a statement signed by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. (Engr.) Dr. Kazeem Bukoye, the Foundation commended the councillors for their commitment to good governance, community development, and the welfare of the people.

“We extend our heartfelt vote of confidence to the Honourable Councillors of Offa Local Government for their remarkable performance and dedicated service in the past one year,” the statement read.

The Foundation highlighted key legislative achievements of the Council, including two amendments to existing laws and the enactment of a new one. These include the Environmental Law, which reintroduced the monthly sanitation exercise; the Owode Market Law; and the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) Amendment Law.

According to Dr. Bukoye, these legislative strides reflect a renewed commitment to improving public hygiene, market administration, and the council’s economic sustainability.

He also praised the Speaker of Offa Local Government Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Sharafa Olawale Mustapha, describing him as “a visionary leader and a true servant of the people” who has steered the legislative arm with wisdom, integrity, and fairness.

“In just one year, the councillors have demonstrated true leadership, transparency, and commitment to the growth and development of our communities,” the statement continued. “Through their collective efforts, we have witnessed remarkable improvements in governance, grassroots representation, and humanitarian gestures that directly impact the lives of our citizens.”

Dr. Bukoye lauded the councillors for their unity of purpose and unwavering resolve to place the interest of the people above all else, adding that their actions have rekindled public trust in democratic governance at the local level.

As part of his message, the Foundation urged the councillors to remain focused and resilient in their service to humanity.

“The Kazeem Bukoye Foundation and the good people of Offa Local Government stand firmly behind you,” he affirmed. “With this declaration of confidence, we urge you to do even more in the years ahead.”
