[PHOTOS] Kwara Assembly Aspirant, Hon. Bolaji Abdulrauf, Takes Voter Registration Awareness to Constituents in Offa

Aspiring lawmaker for the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Bolaji Abdulrauf (BJ), has urged residents of Essa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency to register and obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs) in order to elect credible leaders.

Just Event Online TV reports, The aspirant emphasized that the PVC remains the only tool for citizens to make their voices heard at the ballot, stressing: “You can only vote a credible candidate with your voter’s card.”

As part of efforts to boost voter participation, Hon. Abdulrauf launched a grassroots mobilization campaign that brings the registration exercise closer to the people. The initiative, which commenced in August, is designed to make the process more accessible and convenient for residents across the constituency.

According to his campaign team, the exercise has already recorded encouraging turnout, with community members commending the gesture as a step towards strengthening democracy at the grassroots level.

Hon. Abdulrauf noted that his drive is anchored on the belief that political inclusion begins with voter registration, adding that only an active electorate can hold leaders accountable and ensure good governance.
