The Offa Descendants’ Union (ODU), under the leadership of Dr Muideen Azeez Olaniyi Salako, mourns the passing of Dr (Mrs) Oreoluwa Salau, Nigeria’s first female meteorologist and wife of the late Professor Salau from the Olugbense Royal lineage, Offa.
She was the mother of Dr Adetola Salau, Special Adviser on STEMM Education and Corporate Sector Engagement to the Honourable Minister of Education. A trailblazer in meteorology and academia, she leaves behind a remarkable legacy.
ODU commiserates with the family and prays that Almighty God grant her eternal rest and comfort her loved ones.
