Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano State has announced the commencement of its admission exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.
In a statement signed by the management of the institution, prospective students who chose MAAUN as their first choice in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are invited to complete their applications online via the university’s official portal at https://maaun.edu.ng/application-form/.
Applicants are required to create an account with a valid email address and upload the necessary documents.
Upon completion of the application, successful candidates will receive their e-admission letters through both the portal and their registered email addresses.
The university further clarified that candidates who did not initially select MAAUN as their first choice can still do so by purchasing a green card at the nearest JAMB office and updating their preferred institution and programme on the JAMB portal.
MAAUN also announced special consideration for international students, stating that they are exempted from the UTME process and will only be required to present their Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) or its equivalent with credit passes in relevant subjects.
