Moshood Adeleke Offers Scholarships, Donates Solar Light at Erin-Ile School Graduation

Honourable Moshood Adeleke, on Tuesday joined dignitaries at the graduation ceremony of the Police Children School, Erin-Ile, where he made generous pledges aimed at promoting quality basic education.

Adeleke is the founder of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke Foundation and frontline aspirant for the Offa/Oyun/Ifelodun Federal Constituency seat in the incoming 2027 general election.

Adeleke, who is contesting on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was received by staff, pupils, and parents at the event, which also had in attendance the Executive Chairman of Oyun Local Government, Hon. Akanbi Kamar Olarewaju, and other key stakeholders in the local government administration.

The HMA Foundation boss used the occasion to announce the sponsorship of a news-reading pupil in Primary 4, promising to cover her school fees for the next academic session when she would be in Primary 5—up to the point of her transition into secondary school.

Moved by the talent and enthusiasm displayed by the children, Adeleke further donated a solar-powered streetlight to the school, aimed at improving security and enhancing the school’s environment.

He also pledged to sponsor registration fees for the first ten new pupils who enroll at the school in the coming academic session.

“These children are the future of our constituency and Nigeria at large. Investing in their education is beyond a duty; it is a necessity,” he said during his brief remarks.

Adeleke’s delegation to the event was led by Mr. Rasaq Sikiru, the Chief Executive Officer of SK Tech Solar and General Contractors.

The graduation ceremony was a colourful affair filled with cultural displays, musical performances, and awards to deserving pupils.

It served as a platform for renewed calls for community investment in education, particularly at the grassroots level.

Hon. Akanbi, in his own address, commended teachers and parents for their support while reiterating his administration’s commitment to improving learning conditions across schools in Oyun Local Government.

Other dignitaries included Oyun LG Vice Chairperson, Chief Mrs. Jemilat Funmilayo Abioye; the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Richard Agboola; Supervisor for Education, Hajia Kafilat Kolade Temilade; Supervisor for Health, Mrs. Florence Ayoola; Supervisor for Agriculture, Mr. Niyi Ogundele; and the APC Women Leader in Oyun, Alhaja Rasheedat Omotosho.
