…recalls shared political journey, hails his loyalty and service
The Executive Director representing Kwara State at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Bilqis Jumoke Sanni, has extended birthday greetings to the Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government Area, Comrade AbdulRasheed Femi Yusuf.
She describes the celebrant as a dependable political ally and a loyalist.
In a goodwill message dated July 29, Sanni fondly recalled their long-standing comradeship, dating back to the early days of the OTOGE political movement in the State, where both of them played active roles in the push for political change.
“On this special day, I join the people of Ifelodun and the good people of Kwara State in celebrating a man of purpose, resilience, and humility. Happy birthday, Barrister Femi Yusuf.”
“The Chairman of Ifelodun, Comrade AbdulRasheed Femi Yusuf, has been a colleague of great value since our OTOGE struggle days. Popularly known then as ‘Koto Koto Koto’, his energy, commitment, and passion for justice were unmistakable.”
“He calls me Mama Femi, and has always taken me as a mother figure. Now some steps ahead, he has remained consistent in his values and has become known for his absolute loyalty to any cause he believes in,” she partly said.
She congratulated the local government chairman on his new age and prayed for more strength, wisdom, and grace as he continues to steer the affairs of Ifelodun LGA.
