The youth wing of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Offa Local Government Area, Kwara State, has pledged support for former Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki, as it intensifies grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The commitment was made during the Kwara PDP Youth Meeting held earlier today, July 27, 2025, at the party’s secretariat in Itafa area, Offa.
Speaking at the event, the Kwara South Senatorial Youth Leader, Mallam Ganiyu Nafiu Kehinde (popularly known as NFF), said the gathering was convened to reposition the party’s youth structure, recruit more members, and strategise for the future.
According to him, the PDP youth bloc has no intention of joining the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition group, stressing that their loyalty remains firmly with Saraki and the PDP leadership in the state.
“We are not going anywhere; we are solidly behind our leader, Senator Bukola Saraki. The youth wing of the PDP has enormous responsibilities ahead of the 2027 elections. We cannot leave the steering wheel of the party entirely to our elders. We have to play our part in driving the party to victory,” Kehinde said.
He commended the Offa PDP youth structure for the impressive turnout, noting that coordinators, representatives and members from all 12 wards of the local government were present.
The Offa LG PDP Youth Leader, Abiodun Adegoolu, hosted the meeting, which was attended by several youth stakeholders, including Comrade Hammed Tajudeen Anderson, Hammed Wasiu Ajibola, Ogbeni Yinka Raji, Ambassador Lukman Ola, Olaniyi Kabir, Omolosho Kabir, Sulaiman Ajisafe, Comrade Mufutau Damilola Nafisat, Adeniyi Ishola Sakariyahu, Comrade Mabub Pascal, all councilorship candidates, and all ward youth leaders.
The meeting ended with a renewed call for unity and intensified grassroots mobilisation to ensure PDP’s dominance in the 2027 polls.
