The All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the forthcoming Ibadan North by-election degenerated into chaos on Sunday, following violent clashes among party members and delegates.
Despite a heavy security presence, the exercise was marred by physical confrontations and allegations of the use of local charms, plunging the party into deeper crisis ahead of the 16 August poll.
