Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State on Sunday evening survived a minor road accident along the Daura–Katsina highway.
The incident occurred shortly after the governor visited the residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, where he received sympathisers.
Confirming the incident, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, stated that Radda escaped without serious injuries.
“We are pleased to confirm that His Excellency is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.
Mohammed further noted that Governor Radda remains in high spirits and has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as to the people of Katsina State and other well-wishers for their prayers and concern.
