Yoruba Nation agitat, Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, widely known as Sunday Igboho, has reacted to the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
In a viral video, Igboho recalled how, under Buhari’s directive, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly stormed his residence at midnight on 4th July 2021 in what he claimed was a state-sanctioned attempt on his life.
He further alleged that Buhari conspired with certain Yoruba individuals to orchestrate the invasion.
Igboho stated, “I thank God for my life today. See how life works! The man who sent DSS operatives to kill me in the dead of night on July 4th, 2021, is dead today.
“My people, we must take lessons from this. Muhammadu Buhari is gone, but I am still alive — and I give all glory to God.
“The man who conspired with some foolish Yoruba collaborators came for my life, but God said no.”
News Bulletin Nigeria reports that the former Nigerian leader died on Sunday in London after a brief illness. His remains are scheduled to be flown back to Nigeria for burial in Daura, Katsina State, on Monday.
