
Comrade Abdulazeez Majeed Olanrewaju, popularly known among peers and student bodies as Comrade Achiever, is a dynamic and passionate student leader with an impressive track record of service, activism, and leadership.
Born on August 8, some two and half decades ago into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Abdulazeez, he hails from the historic town of Offa in Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Majeed began his academic journey at Ipata LGEA Primary School, Ilorin, where he completed his primary education.
He proceeded to Nawair-Ud-Deen Junior School and later obtained his Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) at Offa Grammar School in 2017.
Driven by a passion for knowledge and community service, he gained admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, in the 2021/2022 academic session to study Library and Information Science.
He completed his National Diploma (ND) in 2022/2023 and is currently a student of Higher National Diploma (HND I) in the same department.
Majeed’s journey in student activism and leadership began early in his ND days, and he has since served in various strategic capacities across multiple student bodies, both at the campus level and the national level.

His tenure as SUG PRO II under the administration of Comrade Adelowo Tofunmi Busayo (Top Man) was marked by innovation and inclusivity.
One of his standout initiatives was the successful organization of a Political Sensitization Programme, which attracted prominent personalities, including the Rector of the Polytechnic, Engr. Kadir Kamoru Oluwatoyin; former Kwara State House of Assembly Leader, Hon. Dr. Hassan Yemi Oyeleke; SSANIP and ASUP Chairmen; Deputy Rector Academics, and several other distinguished guests.
The event served as a vital civic engagement platform for students and the polytechnic community at large.
For his contributions and leadership excellence, Comrade Majeed was honoured with the “Most Outstanding ND Comrade of the Year” award, presented by the then Students’ Union President.
Comrade Achiever is actively seeking to take his service to the next level.
