A JAMB candidate who scored an impressive 326 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been left stunned after receiving a notification from the examination body to retake the test.
The candidate, identified as @swagpriest2 on X (formerly known as Twitter), shared his frustration online, revealing the unexpected development through a screenshot of the message sent by JAMB. He had previously posted his score on social media, proudly asking: “Hope 326 isn’t a bad score for Twitter NG.”
The sudden rescheduling follows JAMB’s recent acknowledgement of technical errors at multiple examination centres, prompting the board to mandate retakes for affected candidates, regardless of their scores.
In his latest post, the candidate wrote: “WTF I got rescheduled… I’m not even in Lagos. Gosh, this country is so awful.”
