
The Elese of Igbaja, His Royal Majesty Oba Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo III, has received felicitations from Hon. Moshood Adeleke, founder of the HMA Foundation and House of Representatives aspirant for the Oyun/Offa/Ifelodun Federal Constituency, as the monarch marks his 97th birthday.
In a goodwill message made available to News Bulletin, Adeleke described the monarch as a beacon of peace, wisdom, and progressive leadership whose reign has brought immense blessings and transformation to the Igbaja community and the Igbomina region at large.
“With a humble heart and deep cultural reverence, I join the sons and daughters of Igbaja and Igbomina to celebrate the rare gift that is Kabiyesi, HRM Oba Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo III, on the occasion of his 97th birthday,” Adeleke said.
He extolled the monarch’s legacy of inclusivity, peacebuilding, and development, stating that the king’s reign has welcomed both indigenes and non-indigenes, fostering a harmonious environment that continues to attract economic opportunities and community growth.
“His open heart, friendly nature, and passion for humanity have made Igbaja a beacon of economic progress. The entire community is better for his wisdom and fatherly leadership,” Adeleke added.
Adeleke, on behalf of himself and the HMA Foundation, offered prayers for the monarch’s continued good health, longevity, and a peaceful reign.
“May the land of Igbaja flourish with unity and divine favour. May doors of opportunity from the highest levels of governance be opened for its people. Long live Kabiyesi,” he concluded.
