Man In Police Net For Trafficking Nigerian Girls To Libya

The Lagos State Police Command has apprehended a 25-year-old man, Samson Oghenebreme, in the Odomola community of Epe for possessing human organs.

The arrest was carried out by officers from the Odo-Noforija Police Division following a tip-off from vigilant community members who noticed Oghenebreme’s suspicious movements, Channels Television reports.

Police investigations revealed that the suspect was allegedly transporting the human parts to Edo State to deliver them to a native doctor for suspected money-making rituals.

Lagos Command Spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest in a statement released on Friday. The recovered human organs have been deposited at the General Hospital in Epe for preservation.

The case has since been transferred to the Edo State Police Command for further investigation and prosecution.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, reassured the public of the Command’s commitment to safeguarding lives and property throughout the state.
