The Offa Youths Council (OYC) has congratulated Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni on her well-deserved appointment as the Executive Director at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC)
It describes the development as a monumental achievement for Offa, Kwara and North Central
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Council, Mr. Nasir Samad Tomide, on Friday, May 9, 2025, the youth group commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the appointing authorities for recognizing the exceptional capacity, experience, and integrity that Hajia Sanni represents
“This appointment is a moment of great pride and celebration for us in Offa, particularly in Shawo Central Ward, where Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni hails from.
“Her record of decades in public service, her trailblazing leadership in various state ministries, and her deep connection with the grassroots make her one of the most qualified personalities to occupy this important national role,” he said
OYC acknowledged Hajia Sanni’s public service career, which spans education, water resources, women affairs, and health, noting that her versatility and dedication to the welfare of the people have always stood her out.
“We are confident that she will bring renewed vision and integrity to the NCDC at a time when the country is in critical need of proactive and responsive health leadership,” the statement added.
The group also praised Arc Lola Ashiru, Nigeria Deputy Senate and Senator Representing Kwara South Senatorial District and Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, Governor of Kwara State.
While calling on well-meaning citizens and stakeholders in Kwara State to support Hajia Sanni in her new role, the OYC urged young people to draw inspiration from her legacy of hard work, humility, and service.
“This is a triumph not just for an individual, but for every young person who believes in merit, excellence, and community impact. Hajia Sanni remains a shining example of what commitment to purpose and public good can achieve.”
The Council prayed for divine guidance and success for Hajia Bilqis Jumoke Sanni in her new national assignment.
