A disturbing incident in Aba, Abia State, has sparked widespread outrage after a domestic worker was reportedly thrown from the balcony of a two-storey building by her employer.
The incident is said to have occurred at 204 Niger Road, near Newday Fast Food. A now-viral Facebook post brought the matter to public attention, alleging that the young girl, employed as a house help, was pushed off the second floor as punishment for an undisclosed offence.
“She’s just a house help. Her madam pushed her off the second floor because she did something they didn’t like,” the post read. “This is unbelievable! She needs justice—please help share this!”
