The Honourable Member representing Eesa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yusuf (popularly known as JK), has extended Easter greetings to the Christian community across his constituency and the state at large.
In a goodwill message released in commemoration of this year’s Easter celebration, Hon. Yusuf rejoiced with Christians for witnessing another season of resurrection hope, urging them to embrace the values of peace, love, and unity that Easter represents.
He noted that the resurrection of Christ serves as a timeless symbol of renewal and victory over despair, and prayed that the heart of every believer be filled with the peace and joy that the risen Christ brings.
“Easter reminds us of the power of faith, sacrifice, and the triumph of light over darkness.
“I pray that the message of this season brings hope to every home, strengthens our bonds as a people, and inspires us to work together for the progress of our community and our dear state,” he said.
He further called on citizens to continue to promote peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and good neighbourliness irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to delivering quality representation and supporting developmental initiatives that will uplift the lives of his constituents.
