The Honourable Member representing Ojomu Balogun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Health and Nutrition, Ogbeni Seun Ogunniyi felicitates the Christian community for this year’s Easter celebration. He prays that the heart of everyone be filled with the peace of the risen Christ.
In the statement issued from his home in Offa, he prayed that “may this Easter season brings to every life and every home the light of new beginnings and the comfort of the redemptive grace of Christ’s that brings peace and salvation to the world.” He urged all Christian and, indeed, every people of all faith to pursue tolerance, love, and understanding among each other. This he affirms is central to the achievement of progress and prosperity in our communities, our state, and the nation at large. He condemns the senseless intolerance and brute criminality in some parts of the country that sometimes lead to chaos, violence, and destruction of lives and property.
He commended the people of Ojomu Balogun Constituency and indeed Offa Local Government for always showing to the world a beautiful and shining example of how people of different faiths and religions coexist in love and peace among each other for the progress of their community. Furthermore, he extends his hearty felicitations to all Christians in his constituency and the State and wished them a Happy Easter celebration.
