Ogbeni Seun David Ogunniyi Adato, the Honourable Member representing Ojomu/Balogun Constituency at the Kwara State House of Assembly, extends greetings to Christians in Offa, among his constituents, Kwara State and beyond as they commemorate Palm Sunday — a significant event in the Christian liturgical calendar.
In a statement released by his media team, Adato described Palm Sunday as a solemn remembrance of Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem, which marked the beginning of the Holy Week and led to His crucifixion, death, and resurrection.
He noted that the occasion symbolizes Christ’s sacred promise of peace, freedom, and salvation for humanity.
“As we celebrate yet another Palm Sunday today, may the blessedness and joy of this holy season be the portion of everyone,” he said.
The lawmaker also wished all Christian faithful a joyful Easter season ahead, praying that the lessons of love, sacrifice, and hope embedded in the Easter message continue to guide all in their daily lives.
