Victoria Goodwin, wife of American actor Aaron Goodwin, has been arrested for allegedly plotting to have him killed—just two years after their wedding.
According to a TMZ report, Victoria was taken into custody on March 6 and charged with solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to murder. She has denied the allegations.
An arrest report obtained by the outlet revealed that the alleged plot was uncovered when correctional officers seized a contraband phone from an inmate in a Florida prison. Authorities cited a text message Victoria allegedly sent to the inmate, which read:
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce.”
Investigators claim the murder-for-hire scheme was set in motion in October 2024 and that Victoria provided her husband’s whereabouts—while he was filming Ghost Adventures in California—to the inmate via text.
Police say she allegedly agreed to pay the hitman $11,515, with an upfront payment of $2,500.
During questioning, Victoria admitted to having marital problems but claimed her conversations with the inmate were merely “daydreaming or fantasizing about being without her husband.”
Aaron and Victoria tied the knot at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in 2022.
