The Labour Party in Offa Local Government and across Kwara State is mourning the loss of one of its most dedicated elders, Alhaji Senior Comrade Giwa Muhideen.
Announcing his death, the Labour Party Chairperson for Offa Local Government, Comrade Salawu Khadija, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, describing him as a true leader and mentor whose commitment to the party was unparalleled.
Comrade Muhideen was also described as a pillar of unwavering support for the Labour Party, standing firm in his convictions despite numerous challenges.
His contributions to the party’s growth and his fatherly guidance within the political landscape will be deeply missed. His passing leaves a significant void that will be difficult to fill.
“We take solace in the mercy of the Almighty, as we pray for his soul to find eternal peace and forgiveness,” she stated.
The burial has been scheduled for 2 PM today in Offa Local Government Area, in accordance with Islamic rites.
