The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has extended its cash empowerment program to small-scale traders in Gaa-Osibi, Ilorin South Local Government, providing a total of N200,000 to support their businesses.
The foundation’s initiative is aimed at promoting economic growth and reducing poverty among vulnerable populations in Kwara State. By providing financial support to small-scale traders, the MOK Foundation is helping to stimulate local economic activity and improve the livelihoods of beneficiaries.
The cash empowerment program is part of the foundation’s broader efforts to support small businesses across various local governments in Kwara State. With a goal of reaching over 2,000 beneficiaries, the MOK Foundation has already made significant strides in promoting economic development and reducing poverty in the state since its establishment in 2023
The N200,000 cash support provided to small-scale traders in Gaa-Osibi is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, enabling beneficiaries to grow their businesses and improve their financial stability
