The decomposed remains of Hon. Justice Azuka, a member of the Anambra State House of Assembly who was recently reported missing, have been recovered.
On Thursday morning, NEWS BULLETIN learned that the body was located near the 2nd Niger Bridge by a joint team of security personnel.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state, confirmed the tragic news to NEWS BULLETIN via a text message. He stated, “Yes, our operatives are currently at the scene. I will provide further updates as I gather more information.”
Hon. Justice Azuka represented the Onitsha I North constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly and was abducted by armed assailants on December 24, 2024, while returning home along Ugwunaobankpa Road in Inland Town, Onitsha.
