The family of 29-year-old Nkiru Osakweogo is in distress following her disappearance after attending a job interview in the Lekki area of Lagos State.
Osakweogo, a resident of 58 Kirikiri Road, Olodi Apapa, Lagos, left home on January 25, 2025, for the interview and has not been seen since.
Speaking with NEWS BULLETIN, her sister, Obianuju Osakweogo, shared concerns over Nkiru’s sudden silence, noting that her phone has been switched off and she has not been active online.
“My sister is very private. She only informed our other sister about the interview but didn’t mention the exact location. Later, she sent a message saying she got the job and that the company offered accommodation, so she would be staying there. She also mentioned a poor network in the area. Since then, we’ve had no contact with her,” Obianuju explained.
Despite reporting the case to the police, the family says authorities have been unable to take significant action due to the lack of a specific address.
They are urging anyone with relevant information to reach out via 07038406112 or 07062396321.
Efforts to contact Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer Benjamin Hundeyin for a response were unsuccessful, as he neither answered calls nor replied to WhatsApp messages.
