In a heartfelt show of appreciation, two renowned secondary schools in Offa, Kwara State—Ansar-ul-Islam Senior Secondary School and Offa Grammar School—have expressed their gratitude to the Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation for sponsoring the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) fees of 30 students.
In separate letters dated January 24, 2025, the school authorities lauded the foundation’s continued commitment to educational empowerment and financial support for indigent students.
In an official letter signed by the Senior School Principal, Mr. Salami Fatai Tunde, and Olanipekun O.P on behalf of the school’s scholarship committee, Offa Grammar School confirmed that 23 students benefited from the MOK Foundation’s initiative, amounting to a total sponsorship of ₦695,750.
“The school management, staff, and the scholarship committee members of Offa Grammar School wish to express our profound gratitude and appreciation for your kind generosity towards the scholarship given to twenty-three of our indigent but bright students for the 2024/2025 WAEC Examination fees,” the letter stated.
Similarly, in a letter signed by the school’s principal, Agboola Rasheed Babatunde, Ansar-ul-Islam Senior Secondary School acknowledged the MOK Foundation for covering the WAEC fees of seven students, amounting to ₦211,750.
The school expressed deep appreciation on behalf of the students, parents, and staff, praying for the foundation’s continued success.
“May Allah in His infinite mercy continue to guide, protect, and direct the M.O.K Foundation. M.O.K shall continue to wax stronger and stronger,” the letter read.
The MOK Foundation has consistently demonstrated its commitment to educational advancement in Kwara State. Since the inception of its WAEC sponsorship program, the foundation has continued to ease the financial burden on families, ensuring that bright but underprivileged students can sit for their final secondary school examinations without hindrance.
