The Offa Descendants Union North America (ODUNA) has donated three incubators along with other essential medical consumables to three major healthcare institutions in Kwara State.
This gesture comes as part of ODUNA’s 10th-anniversary celebration of impactful medical interventions.
The beneficiaries of this generous donation are the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH), Offa General Hospital, and the Offa Metropolitan Club (OMC) Medical Centre.
The official handover ceremony was conducted by Dr. Abdulkadiri Adegboyega on behalf of ODUNA.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Adegboyega reaffirmed ODUNA’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare services in Offa.
He urged the recipient hospitals to ensure the optimal use of the donated equipment, emphasizing that the initiative aims to enhance medical care and save lives within the community.
The handover ceremony was attended by key figures, including Mr. Bello Tajudeen Bello Ibilola, Vice President 1 of the Offa Descendants Union (ODU) National Headquarters; Chief Lanre Shittu, Chairman of ODU Home Branch and Chief Otun Akoni of Offaland; Dr. Abdulsalam Mohammed Olabisi, Chief Medical Director (CMD) of Offa General Hospital; and Alhaji Taiwo Dere, representing OMC Medical Centre.
Community representatives and hospital officials expressed their heartfelt gratitude to ODUNA for its continued support and dedication to healthcare development in Offa.
