The Oloro of Oro Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Olaniyi Oyatoye Titiloye Olufayo II, has congratulated Prince Akeem Owoade on his official approval as the New Alaafin of Oyo by the Oyo State Government.

“It is clear that the Oyo State Government has made a strategic and commendable choice” He added.
Recalling their shared Royal connections, Oba Oyatoye expressed confidence that the New Alaafin has all the qualities necessary to build upon and sustain the Illustrious legacies of the late Alaafin of Oyo.
The revered monarch concluded by offering his prayers for a prosperous and harmonious reign that will foster unity among the Yoruba people and bring prosperity to the historic Oyo Kingdom.
