The Muhydeen Okunlola Kayode (MOK) Foundation has once again been recognized for its unwavering commitment to community development and humanitarian service, as it received the Kwara Tabloid Award at the 11th Public Lecture and Award Presentation Ceremony held today, Friday, at Fabbies Hall, Ilorin.
The award was received on behalf of the Foundation by Efissy Mama, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and reaffirmed the Foundation’s dedication to uplifting the lives of Kwarans through impactful initiatives.
Organized by the Kwara Tabloid Forum, an interactive platform for Kwara elites worldwide, the event celebrated exceptional individuals and organizations contributing significantly to the state’s development.
Among the notable recipients were Chief Sir JB Ayeni, Musa Idris Buko, Evang. Deborah Ayoola (aka Mama Holy Ghost), Fatima Binta Dikko of ENETSUD, and other distinguished Kwarans such as Chief Sunday Oyebiyi, Hon. Waabi Isah, Barr. Mrs. Modupe Folashade Adejumo, Associate Prof. Bashir Olaitan, and Madam Joy Bolarin Jibore.
Prof. Wale Sulaiman, a renowned neurosurgeon certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, served as the Guest Speaker, delivering an insightful lecture that inspired attendees to drive transformative change in Kwara State.
The MOK Foundation’s recognition at this prestigious forum highlights its continued efforts to combat food scarcity, promote education, and support the less privileged in society, reinforcing its position as a beacon of hope in Kwara State.
