Osun State University’s management has pledged to strengthen its collaboration with the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital.

 

This commitment was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ayo Adebooye, during a meeting with the hospital’s management team.

 

The goal is to foster collective development and excellence in healthcare services, medical education, and research.

 

Professor Adebooye emphasized the importance of building a bridge between the University and the hospital, recognizing that they belong together. He also urged the hospital management to update their staff records, as has been done at the university.

 

While speaking on the multi-billion naira built and fully equiped hospital donated by the Pro- Chancellor of the University, Dr. Mrs. Folorunso Alakija, Prof Adebooye said the University and the Teaching Hospital will design a business plan on a successful running of the Magnificent Hospital.

 

The Chairman of the Board of Directors at UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital, Rt. Hon. Niyi Owolade, assured the Vice-Chancellor that the hospital is ready to work together with the University and make the State Government proud.

 

The Chief Medical Director, Dr. Babatunde Adeola Afolabi, expressed gratitude for the university’s significant contributions to the hospital’s growth and development. He noted that the partnership will strengthen their shared vision of delivering exceptional healthcare services, advancing medical education, and driving innovation through research.

 

The meeting was graced by all the Principal officers of the University and the Management Committee of the hospital.
