A heartbreaking incident occurred in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, where a middle-aged woman, Kudirat, and her two daughters, Mariam (13) and Azeezat (10), were tragically crushed to death. The accident took place in the Apake area on Wednesday night as the family was returning home from their shop around 11 p.m. on a commercial motorcycle.
Reports indicate that while the motorcyclist survived unscathed, the driver of the trailer involved fled the scene. The bodies of the victims have since been moved to a morgue, with local sources revealing that attempts to pursue the trailer driver were unsuccessful. Efforts to obtain comments from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Sector Commander in the state, Rosemary Alo, were unfruitful by the time of this report.
