The Babaloja of Offa, Alhaji Moshood Bello has denied any knowledge of a purported suspension letter from the Kwara State Association of Marketers (KWAM).
The letter, which alleges the suspension of the Babaloja due to unspecified actions, has come under scrutiny for its lack of signature and date, casting doubt on its validity.
In a statement released today, the Babaloja of Offa, Alhaji Moshood Bello confirmed that he was not aware of any such letter or the reasons for his suspension.
“As of my last contact today, I have no knowledge of any suspension letter,” he stated emphatically.
The letter, addressed to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, and several key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Business Innovation and Technology and the Iyaloja of Offa Local Government, has raised eyebrows within the community.
The absence of a signature and date on the document has led many to question the authenticity and procedural correctness of the suspension.
Alhaji Moshood Bello emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the matter to ensure fairness and transparency.
