Authorities in Dadin Kowa town, located in the Jos South area of Plateau State, have arrested an unidentified man found in possession of a bomb on the premises of a bank. The alarming discovery prompted immediate action by vigilant security personnel, who successfully apprehended the suspect before any tragedy could occur.
According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, who shared details of the incident on X on Tuesday, the swift response of the bank’s vigilante security team prevented a potential attack. Upon spotting the suspicious individual, security personnel acted swiftly to subdue him.
In a concerning turn of events, an angry mob reportedly descended on the suspect, expressing outrage over the attempted act of terrorism. Calls for the suspect’s immediate execution were heard, reflecting the severity of the situation.
Following the apprehension, local authorities took custody of the suspect for further investigation. A photograph accompanying Makama’s post revealed the bomb strapped around the suspect’s abdomen, underscoring the gravity of the situation.
