Renowned industrialist and former Minister of Education, Kenneth Gbagi, passed away at the age of 62. Gbagi, who contested as the gubernatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party in Delta State’s last election, breathed his last on Saturday, May 4, 2024.
His family confirmed his demise through a statement released by his eldest son, Chief Emuoboh Gbagi. The statement expressed profound sadness but gratitude to God for the life of their beloved father, grandfather, husband, and brother.
The family recalled Gbagi’s remarkable achievements and the positive impact he made on numerous individuals and communities throughout his lifetime. They requested thoughts and prayers from well-wishers during this challenging period of loss and expressed hope for the peaceful repose of his soul.
