On behalf of myself, the EFFECTIVE FAMILY CREW, and all affiliated OSU local chapters to the movement in the just-concluded OSU/NHQ 2023 election, it is important to use this medium to inform the general student populace under the umbrella of the union, community stakeholders, and concerned individuals that we have embraced a resolution for peace to reign and to stabilize our dear union, which seems to have become a crumbling edifice, sequel to the PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION written on the 1st of January 2023.
The action was taken following the words of Aristotle; he said, and I quote, “It is not enough to win a war; it is more important to organize the peace.” Therefore, we have challenged the injustice, which shows we have displayed being an aborigine of Offa with a true understanding of Ijakadi, and we have conquered with the alleged admitting of their guilt and tendered a necessary apology. On this note, I would like to appreciate the union legal adviser Otunba Bello Ademola Abdulwaheed, Mr. Jimoh Taofik Adekunle (JAAT), and other important individuals that intervened and oversaw the issues between concerned crew members and individuals by ensuring there is a resolution to save the face of the union, with which I strongly believe OFFA STUDENT UNION NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS can be great again.
With the view to clarify the grudge, it is important to notify the general populace that neither I, Sarafadeen Abdullahi Olamide, popularly addressed as EL–SHARAF, nor any member of the EFFECTIVE FAMILY CREW or affiliate chapters to the movement received anything either material or immaterial in exchange for agreement on resolution. We did this FOR OUR FATHER LAND to promote peace and eliminate enmity.
Therefore, we urge the student populace under the umbrella of the union, community stakeholders, and other concerned individuals to embrace COMRADE SOLIU MUBARAK OLAIYA ULTIMATE BIGGY as OSU/NHQ president, support him, and pray he runs a successful administration.
