The Special Adviser on Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation (RUWESA) to Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, Chief Lanre Odelade, has offered to deliver the best of his God-given talents and resources in the discharge of any duties assigned to enhance the progress of the state.
Chief Odelade was among the newly appointed Special Advisers sworn in by Governor Ademola Adeleke to complement his administration at the executive council level.
The Special Adviser on Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation (RUWESA) will be awarded tomorrow, Wednesday, 20th December 2023, as the “Best Special Adviser of the Year.”
He expressed appreciation to the Governor and the Peoples Democratic Party for considering him suitable for his appointment with remarks not to disappoint the government and people of the state.
Chief Odelade recalled the efforts of political, traditional, and community leaders of Ikoyi and other towns in Isokan Ayedaade-Irewole Federal constituency on the electoral victory of the Peoples Democratic Party at all stages of the election, with optimism that the victory will be carried forward to good performance in government, ensuring the delivery of democracy dividends to the people.
He charged party members to maintain unity, support, and loyalty to the party and the Adeleke administration in its determined commitment to uplifting the living standard of the people through a policy of infrastructural face-lifting and the provision of projects directly benefiting people at the grassroots.
He pledged to uphold the principles of fair play, leadership, and service across all socio-economic, religious, and political divides in his position as Special Adviser.
Olanrewaju Sarafa Odelade is the Asipa of Ikoyi Kingdom in Isokan-Ayedaade Local Government area of Osun State.
The public lecture and award presentation will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, 20th December 2023, at Ben-Ber Hall beside Reginal Suite, Ring Road, Osogbo, at 11 am.
