The So-Safe Corps of Ogun State has dismissed one of its officers identified as Yusuf Adeboye over alleged stealing.

The commander of the agency, Soji Ganzallo, confirmed Adeboye’s dismissal in a statement made available to City Round on Friday by his Director of Information and Public Relations, Moruf Yusuf.

According to Ganzallo, Adeboye was dismissed Thursday “for his involvement in a stealing case that took place in the apartment where he was posted at Onibukun Area of Obantoko in Abeokuta.”

Ganzallo noted that the owner of the apartment had on November 12 complained over some missing items worth a lot of money.

“The said development had compelled the agency to carry out an aggressive investigation which led to the arrest of Adeboye, one of the officers attached to the beat, on November 21. He later confessed that he truly committed the crime.

“The general public is hereby advised to desist from relating with the dismissed Adeboye Yusuf Sunday as an officer of the agency, whoever associates with him, does so is at his/her peril,” the commander added.
