An online journalist and social critic, Olusanya Funmilayo has appealed to the Oyo State Governor, Governor Seyi Makinde on the ongoing Idi Ape to Akobo-Olorunda road construction in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
Recall Governor Seyin Makinde flagged off the dualization of the road early June and name it after the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
She made the appeal via her social handle on Friday, June 21, 2023.
She posted a video of the road under construction and wrote: “we need an urgent help in Olorunda, Idi Ape, Akobo road. It is so much trouble passing through the road after heavy downpour. Both we the pedestrians and motorists face so much trouble passing through the bad road. Although work has started but we need them to be fast about it.”
